sunsets

Well when we head out of Cobar or coming back home to Cobar I have enjoyed taking photos of the sunsets, these sunsets are amazing considering we are in the outback with no building around to get in the way of great sunsets and stars etc.

Well I took this photo a few weeks ago on my phone

Then just the last 2 days I took some more sunset photos heading towards Broken Hill.

And I took these photos on the way home back to Cobar.

So i do enjoy taking these sorts of photos and i can only get better at them

ANZAC DAY

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them.

Well this year April 25th 2012 was our first ANZAC day out of NZ.  We had it across in the park in Cobar, was a lovely service not as long as im use to and the kids were well behaved and sat, watched and chilled out while the speeches were being done..They also stood when they were meant to and sat down afterwards.

The parade started at the RSL went down the main street and down a few sides street to get to the park with the war memorial area.  We sat on the main street and watched the parade then made our way to the park, we got there before the parade arrived.

The army cadets took their spots about the flag and memorial statue.

Caught up with Carmen and her girls, which was lovely, Dakota likes Matilda

So was a nice little service.

We went home for a bit, then out again and Damian decided to climb the tree so the kids wanted to aswell, so they did. (with my help of course)

I do love this photo

So that was out ANZAC day service
