What a GREAT day

Wow had the most prefect day today.

Havent really had to tell my kids off, they played nice, cleaned up when asked, ate all their dinner and let me have a sewing day.

Well this morning i needed to go to animates to get some things for Blizzard, she is digging her way out of her cage cause she is soo bored so i HAD to get some things for her to stop her digging and chewing her cage.

So after my trip out i have a happy bunny

She now has a tunnel made out of wood so she can chew it or lie under it, i also got her a wooden basket so she can have hay in it. you cant really see the hanging basket for fruit/veges etc.  Also got her some treats for the kids to feed her.

Lukas came inside after playing outside about 11am and went to his room, came back out with a sheet trying to get my attention he got it and ran to his room again.  I put him into his cot like he wanted and well didnt think he would go to sleep but 10mins later i found this.

Well i got into some sewing and material i didnt want to use or couldnt use anymore of just went to the floor.

Dakota found a piece and started cutting it and then went outside "kite" what a clever girl she turned the material (didnt really change it from how it fell to the floor but i let her think she made it) into a kite, she was sooo proud of herself.

O yes the top is on inside out, she re dressed herself when we got home after doing the animates trip.

And of course i got a video of this, was too cute not too

Then i really got into my sewing i was asked if i could make a few hobby caddies for a friends friend in Christchurch, so i made a few today, turned out pretty cute if i say so myself.

i love the animals one i will have to make another one like that for Lukas i think, and the pink one came out really well with that black, just makes it jump at you.  

Thats number 3 and 4 i have made now, each time i do something slighty different

Now i kept seeing buntings around (those flag like banners)

I really wanted to give this a go so i did

So for Lukas i did aliens  he loved it once i put it up above his door, i still have letters to do, but might do that on its own (watch this space)

Then for Dakota i did the cherries and they are sooo yummy, also wanna do her name too but i might end up doing something else with her name (watch this space)

Once the playhouse is done i will be doing special buntings for the playhouse, making sure they are unisex for both kiddies:)  (watch the playhouse space)

Now for bedtime when nice tonight, Dakota got her stories read and she was happy and went to sleep, Lukas on the other hand would keep screaming and screaming, isnt a happy boy at all.

I have him out with me at the moment and he is just wiped but wont let me put him to bed at all.

But i then noticed this on his tummy 2 spots right under one another but a good 6-8cms between them, very red and pin prick in the middle of it, weird very weird, so have given pamol and just watching him as they keep growing.

My poor baby boy tonight, just isnt having a bar of anything.

he finally went back to bed at 9pm

Well today after picking up a run and a small cage for Blizzard

 No photo of the small hutch yet as i havent used it yet.  But this is the run i got almost 2 meters long.  Blizzard likes it, just gotta find a bit to cover up the gap between run and big hutch:)  So will work on that.

THEN

Claire (next door) and I with the 4 kiddies all went to the beach (owera beach)

 

Had a great day at the beach, kids had a ball. sadly Dakota lost her ears many times.

Afterwards went to Claires for a wine and dinner

And now 1.5hours after i put the kids to bed Dakota is STILL up and being naughty.  Had enough of the no listening thing

Well we let Blizzard out yesterday for a run around, she normally comes right back to her cage so we can lock her up WELL, yesterday she decided that wasnt going to happen so was out all night.

I went out this morning to get a text from claire about Blizzard had been in the gardens and eaten.

Got home and she ate my WHOLE garden, i couldnt beleive it, well apart from the big zucchini plant.

So this afternoon i had to find her and get her back to her cage, Dakota helped me, i had the gate opened so we could head out and have a look down the road, then Dakota went missing.

OMG running around like a headless chicken cause Dakota had gone missing.

Well i heard a noise and followed it and found Dakota AND Blizzard

Dakota then found balls and went around under the deck finding them and throwing them out for me

Once all the balls her removed she went back to Blzzard

Of course i did catch her (Blizzard) in the end, by ringing mum and her telling me to put a washing basket over her and just drag it slowly out so i did and got her, she still tried to run.

December is almost here

3hours and 45mins from when i start this post lol.

Summer is fully here though and im LOVING it.

The day started with the two kiddies cuddling on the couch.

SOOOO CUTE!!!!!

Started off the day with a walk to the vege shop and back again then took Dakota to Gym

She loves going to gym and today even did a beam on her own, no holding my hands, i couldn't believe it, my girl is getting so big now.  Next week is the last week for the year and Santa will be there, its a dress up day, theme is beach.  So the camera WILL be going with me as they get a certificate at the end of the session.  She can take a friend who is 2 and over, but we dont really have anyone of that age that doesn't already have something else on.

We got home and the kids played outside and had fun, we ended up putting the fence up between our houses again cause the kids wouldnt listen and kept disappearing into each others yards, so we have now put a stop to that. 

We hadnt had tv on all day so that was nice, and Dakota saw a christmas tree on the tv and said "pretty tree" so we went and got our christmas tree to put up, Dakota got very excited over it.

 So after i got the tree up, we let her put on what she wanted, she didnt like that it kept falling down and wanted the lights on so we have told her it will be done tonight and when she wakes up the lights will be on.  I wonder if this is why she went to sleep with no fight, or she was just tired lol.

After the tree it was time to go play outside well eat dinner then play.

For Lukas's party we hired 3 toys from toyhire and we have them till friday so the kids are making use out of them.

We got a rollercoaster, slide and seesaw.

 Of course we had to get videos of the rollercoaster being used.

Yes you saw right, Blizzard is out, she has been out since Sat, she is loving it, so we have now moved her hutch to where she likes to hang out and that is under the deck.  She knows where it is so that is good.

In summer what sound to you hear the most, Mr Whippy?  yup he is up and down our street most days, so today we decided to get an ice-cream and she if they are Gluten free, what do you know they are, Dakota can have the ice-cream in a cup, with nothing else, so we put sprinkles on it for her.  This is Lukas very first ice cream too, and he did pretty well.

I looked at the time and it was 6.45pm, WOW 15mins till bedtime, so off for a bath they went then it was bedtime, Dakota was asleep before 7.30pm and Lukas 7.45pm.

So now it will be time to get the christmas sorted in this house.

This is the last post for NaBloPoMo as November is over today.  Im not joining in on the December one as i wont be able to blog everyday as i will be in OZ.
