Lukas found Dakotas glasses today and was having a blast, riding his bike around with the glasses on...when we headed out, i got him some $2 shop glasses so he has a pair too and yup he loves love, on the head and eyes riding around...

Well today was just a gross day..

Had my friend pop over to pick up boxes and stayed for about 3 hours that was great, kids were well behaved Lukas fell asleep on my lap lol..

Later on the game All Blacks vs Canada so we got lots of snack foods for the game

Never too young to teach the kids the correct team to go for

So we had

popcorn

marshmellows

crackers

chips

dip

chilly philly

juice

then afterwards ice blocks for half time and the rest of the food went bye bye lol as i wanted to settle them down for bedtime lol

While we were watching i was screaming at the tv then i hear my kids doing the same

Polkadots Concert

Well yesterday we went to the concert that Dakota got the ticket for...

Well it was great seeing all the polkadots, mr bop and dooby the robot.

Dakota had a great time and we sat right in the front with the other kids from polkadot explorer class, Dakota was excited to see Toby again lol

Then afterwards we got a photo of Dakota and Toby together..Its funny cause they both turned up in their polkadot outfits from the video

So was a great concert and now looking forward to getting the tickets for both kids for the xmas concert on the 17th Dec...

Polkadots Junior Explorer Classes 2nd to last one

Well today was the 2nd to last class.

Today was the day they made their video all dressed up.

It was sooo cute and a blast to watch, parents had a good laugh and clapped when they finished it was lovely, all their hard work had paid off.

In the last photo the little boy standing next to Dakota is 15 days younger than Dakota they are little friends his name is Toby...They are in a few photos together as they always stood next to each other


Then when we got home, Shannon text to say she was pretty much heading over, i have been talking to Shannon for a while online and it was time to meet her, her partner mark and son Ryan...

So i have finally met Shannon, hopefully next time we can meet up in a park on the weekend like western springs etc which would be cool...It was great seeing Shannon for the first time..exciting times.

Lukas grumpy

Well my little man was a grumpy little man today

He was up about 8 times last night, me having to cuddle him back to sleep or have him in my bed, which kinda annoys me as i dont get to sleep...

Well we went down the road with mum and Lukas got a balloon so when we got home we played with that

Because he was so grumpy had to find things to keep him busy, so found the skateboard (he likes them) and let him play with it outside with it....

We went for a walk to pick Dakota up and i was hoping he would sleep in the pram, but nope, so he was in bed at 4.30pm tonight...

Well this morning mum dressed her in pink, she looked so grown up and not 3

Well later on in the day she went upstairs and came back down with the headband i made in her hair

This is the new fashion style on how you wear a headband:)

And of course this is my grown up girl

While Lukas was sleeping from 12-2 Dakota and I were playing little games on the floor then i sat back to watch something on tv and heard her talking so got out the video camera and got this

Now you might not hear or understand her, but she was pretty much talking to the mummy snail and telling it things, then later on she started lying them down telling them its sleep time.

Once Lukas woke we headed out, got them in the car and it pissed down was good timing.

Headed to JB Hi Fi for a DVD as my asked me to get one, the kids chose little ensteins of course lol.

By the time i went to foodtown to get something for dinner the kids were both complaining on being hungry so we got BK which cost less than getting something from foodtown.

After dinner we went and got Dakota new knickers 

Yup went and got Dakota some new knickers today so instead of wearing her cloth ones she has brand new knickers that she chose herself, she was sooo excited...

They had a 25% off childrens underwear in farmers so thought i would have a look and got her two packets of 5...

The cost on the knickers were $11.99 so was going to cost me $24, got to the counter and only paid $10.50 for them.

Mummy and Dakota day

Even though we didnt go anywhere we still had fun, and Dakota wanted to help make dinner and do the washing.

So today while Lukas was at preschool, Dakota and i got into things and prepared chicken for dinner then headed to winz where she sat very well behaved with her snacks had a few people tell me she was wonderful just sitting there unlike the other kids who were running around...so that was nice.

After we left there, we went for a little walk back to the car, and headed back home so i could make up the rest of dinner of course not before having left over pasta for lunch with mushrooms in it.

Afterwards i thought i better get the potato salad made and the dressing so Dakota wanted to help which was nice so i let her, off we got her chair and she helped away

So we cut up the potatos and Dakota popped them in the pot

Then she wanted to count the pieces i cut up while she put them in a pot

While the potatoes were boiling away, we made the dressing for the potato salad

we added gerkins, mustard and mayo

We then blended it together, once the potatoes were ready Dakota mixed the dressing into the potatoes after they had cooled down..then we added the spring onion

Sorry no photos of the aftermath and what dinner looked like but i can tell you it was GOOOOOD.

Dinner was

Chicken breasts stuffed with zuchinii and mushrooms with lemon juice and garlic over it wrapped in tin foil and baked, potato salad with home made dressing and corn on the cob,

This is Dakota her smile after helping me cook dinner she was pretty proud of herself

Then we headed upstairs to do some washing cause of cause Dakota wanted to help. So off we went

Dakota saw the clothes hangers and wanted to do the socks and knickers so off they all came and into the basket

Then she wanted to fold her knickers and a flannel

Dakota then spotted a "house" so we pulled it down and took it downstairs to have a look inside (i already looked while upstairs)

So one excited Dakota opened up the "house" to see what was inside, and she found connectors i think that is what they are

Dakota worked out how the went together pretty fast


After a short play it was time to get Lukas, so off we went, Dakota ran into the centre to find Lukas, big hugs and Lukas spotted me, and i got the biggest hug ever from him...


So that was a mummy and Dakota day
