Project Weds: helping mummy

Sorry this was meant to be up on weds but i got distracted.

Well this is a normal thing in our house now, Dakota and Lukas love helping me when im sewing.

These photos happen to be Lukas helping me cut out the material for the aprons i made.

Project Weds: Food

Yup its one of those things you cant get away from you have to feed your kids.

Well about 7, 9, 12, 1, 3 and 5 my kids are looking for food.

So here is a snapshot of what the meals kinda look like.

if we have been out at lunch time afternoon tea etc are out of their lunchbox if they still have something left.

Project Weds: My Kitchen

Well i decided to take a snap of my kitchen as this is where i spend ALOT of time each day.

So as you can see i do alot in the kitchen, plus you got all those wants of snacks and drinks to add to it all.

Project Life: Weds - Fav toy

I know its not Wed but i did have it all ready for Wed.

Well at the moment the fav toy is pebbles with cups.

I had these plastic cups just lying around brought the pebbles from the $2 shop.

The kids love them, putting them into the cups taking them out, lining them  up in lines, and doing alot of other things with them, cheap, easy toys for sure. 

The only problem i have is getting them to clean them up without a fight, tanty or 2hours later

Project Life: Weds - Washing days

Well i have been following Tui's blog (family friend i guess i can say lol)

And she is doing a Project life every week.

I read over all her project life posts and thought thats a neat way to look at life, you know we arent all about those fun exciting trips out etc, we are mums with families and we do ALOT more than just those fun outings.  

We do those boring behind the scenes things too.

So each week i will snap something for our life and post that up.  Will be a different day each week most likely too. But will be something for that week.

So i have taken up the Challenge to do the washing days one.

Our washing is never ending i get on top of it and the next minute we are back to square one, well the last week i have been very ill so this is a snapshot of a typical day after i have been sick and not been up todate with washing (sorry there are 4 photos to show what it really is like).  Washing everywhere.

In the dirty washing basket (top basket as i have just emptied the bottom one)

Sheets and clothes waiting to be washed

Then the washing machine doing a load of towels

Hehe 16mins to go and no room on the line

Then the washing on the line, towels and tea towels mainly.

(yup towels seem to be one thing that dont get washed while im sick)

Yup line is full, will have to pull out clothes horse

Then we have the washing basket full of clean and dry clothes that i removed off the line to make room for the towels. (this filled the line too)

Just need to fold and then put away

So thats the first posting for project life, will do something different each week.
