Dakota wants to be like Carly

Dakota has always had a thing for taking photos prob cause im ALWAYS taking them.  Once watching the polkadots and getting to know Carly polkadot Dakota loves her camera more (well MY camera), she tells me she is like Carly ALL THE TIME.

So she asks to use my camera, i pop it round her neck and off she goes, she is getting better, just gotta learn to keep her fingers away from the len so she doesnt get finger photos..

But here are a few photos from Dakota the photographer, I have only picked a few and i havent turned any around or edit them

So i think for xmas we might get her a small kids camera, so i get my one back

Polkadots Concert

Well yesterday we went to the concert that Dakota got the ticket for...

Well it was great seeing all the polkadots, mr bop and dooby the robot.

Dakota had a great time and we sat right in the front with the other kids from polkadot explorer class, Dakota was excited to see Toby again lol

Then afterwards we got a photo of Dakota and Toby together..Its funny cause they both turned up in their polkadot outfits from the video

So was a great concert and now looking forward to getting the tickets for both kids for the xmas concert on the 17th Dec...

Polkadots Junior Explorer Classes Graduation

Well today was the final day, Graduation even.

To start of the great final day, they kids sang songs and did some dancing then two more polkadots turned up and Mr Bop...that was an exciting time for the kids.

Then when it was time to leave we got a photo with Carly (was their teacher)

For them graduating they got a certificate, pass for a show tomorrow and a DVD of all the weeks put together and the big video they made last week...its soooo cute and even the bits that were removed are great too...

All the kids looks cute and funny, they enjoyed watching themselves at the final class, when we got home Dakota wanted to watch it again.

I dont think i can show you the DVD online as its not a copy one so will have to show people if they want to see:)

Polkadots Junior Explorer Classes 2nd to last one

Well today was the 2nd to last class.

Today was the day they made their video all dressed up.

It was sooo cute and a blast to watch, parents had a good laugh and clapped when they finished it was lovely, all their hard work had paid off.

In the last photo the little boy standing next to Dakota is 15 days younger than Dakota they are little friends his name is Toby...They are in a few photos together as they always stood next to each other


Then when we got home, Shannon text to say she was pretty much heading over, i have been talking to Shannon for a while online and it was time to meet her, her partner mark and son Ryan...

So i have finally met Shannon, hopefully next time we can meet up in a park on the weekend like western springs etc which would be cool...It was great seeing Shannon for the first time..exciting times.

New dress up for Dakota

Well about 7 weeks ago i posted about Dakota going to polkadots junior explorer classes here

Well this week coming will be the 2nd to last week of it and its video week.

We had to get a white shirt or coat and put polkadots on it, so i decided to go on a hunt at second hand shops to find the prefect shirt, or something white to put polkadots on.

Well went into a shop called "babes and dudes" and the first thing i saw was a size 12-14 dress shirt type thing and thought that looked like a lab coat so grabbed it.

Well today Dakota helped me chose the fabric she wanted as the dots, while Lukas watched on...once all that was done was time to sew all the dots on...took me almost 2 hours to finish it, lucky enough Lukas was asleep and Dakota was happy to watch.

This is the finished product im so pleased with how it turned out...i even put strips on the sleeves i rolled up, the strips have polkadots, coudnt have plain
