Uniform dressers part 3 and a new project

I finally got them painted and finished tonight so pleased with them cant wait till the kids see them in the morning.

Now that those are done and look great.  I have started this for Lukas he loves turtles.

Been a little slack

Well so much as been going on with us lately been so busy with all that.

Both kids finished gym and wont be going back as they are getting into new sports or groups etc.

Our big girl turned 5 

She starts school on Monday so there will be a post about that.

Our little boy is going to a new daycare on Monday

I have finished some more of my tiger stitch, its taking forever i tell you but it better not take me another 3.5yrs

While all this is going on, Lukas has had to go back on gluten as they want to do a biopsy on him now for Coeliac Disease so that is all fun and games.  Will post up more as i know it, he also is getting seen in 2 weeks about his bones as they say they are bones of a 23month old not a 3.5 year old which is concerning to them.

Damian well what can i say he has stopped smoking been one month now and doing a great job.

Me well first semester of course down another 5 semesters to go.  Starting back on Monday, so far so good as all my marks have been great and keeping me with a A Average 

The Water Tiger

I decided to take a photo of the picture of the front of my pattern and split is the best I could as the pattern does into the 9 pages it has.

What I've done cross stitch wise

Well I have done a few Cross stitches and thought I would share what I have done.

Also done a small tiger and friendship one, I dont have photos of those as they were given away to my sister and best friend.

And a update on my water tiger

Tiger Stitch

Cause there is SO much with this cross stitch I thought I would share with you some of my progress.

Here is the pattern its called water tiger

This first stitch part I started before Lukas was born and he is now 2.6yrs old so it has taken a long time.

So this year (2012) I got back into it, bit by bit Im getting it sorted a couple of hours at night 

(when Im not working on another project)

So there are 9 nights worth of stitching coming up

This photo has the green in the bottom left removed because I did a counting stuff up and had to undo it

But its ok on this night I got that bottom green back with extra on the middle right.

For a friend

Well my friend Jodi had a little boy named Charlie on the 10th June 2012 and I had started making an owl stitch  for little Charlie before he was born and finished it just afterwards.  Charlies big brother Cameron is just as important so I have made him a hedgehog bookmark, he is a big reader and this is just prefect for him.

So check out the progress of the cross stitch its cute thats for sure

Getting back into it

Well its been a while but I decided to get off the computer at night again and get back into the cross stitching.

Last night I finished a friends baby name/birthdate one, which I think I rather cute.  Didnt use a pattern just took bits and pieces from other patterns to make it, then I printed off grid paper and wrote out the words etc I wanted on that .

So here it is

Im currently working on two others and gotta finish Lukas's one just gotta add his name and birthdate to it..but I will upload that when I have done it.

But for now check out the two im working on

The owl one is for a friend who is having a baby boy was due 1st June 2012 so hoping he comes soon

The water tiger I have been working on for the last 2 years, but finally got back into it, its looking pretty good so far.  Will share the progress another day :)

Babies are sweethearts

So in my downtime i like to do cross stitching.

Well a friend just had a baby a week ago and I decided to make a cross stitch for him

So cute, just gotta get a frame now
