Big outside clean up.

Well today i decided to start on the outside yard as the lawns got really long and were mowed with no catcher, the weeds up fences were getting really long too, and well the gardens were over growing with weeds.

So i started on the front the first task was the weed eat all the edges and pull out all the weeds around the fences since they were long as.  You can see the piles that i made before cleaning up the piles

 Then it was time for the two gardens down by my stairs, yup these got away from me pretty fast.

With my sister giving a hand, didn't pull anything out though and went home

pretty proud of myself for this one, these weeds were a hard lot as the dirt wasn't very moveable and the bark just got in the way, but i did it.

This garden is under Lukas's window and around the side of the house as you come down my driveway pretty much first garden you see on the right.
This one gave me lots of cuts and grazes from the ouch plants.

AFTERMATH

This is what was taken out of the front ONLY, 10 bags and only one is full of lawn clippings, that is alot of weeds and crap that wasn't needed in my front yard.

Then i started on the backyard, I did most of the weed-eating around the fences out the back.  While I was weed-eating and pulling weeds at the same time, some of the ground felt a little odd while i pulled a weed out i found bricks buried deep and more are buried so will dig more out tomorrow.

Didnt get alot done out the back, while I weed-eating I pulled weeds to tider up an area at a time.  I have two flax plants out in my back yard and they were in desperate need of a clean up, so worked on the first one.

You can see its covered in weeds, i should of taken a photo of all angles of this cause MAN o MAN this was full with weeds, and dead bits of the flax so out it all came.

AFTERMATH 

This is what i have done so far in the back, now those that know my backyard its actually pretty large.

So tomorrow will be another day for me to be outside, i have so much left to do.

Been a little slack

Well so much as been going on with us lately been so busy with all that.

Both kids finished gym and wont be going back as they are getting into new sports or groups etc.

Our big girl turned 5 

She starts school on Monday so there will be a post about that.

Our little boy is going to a new daycare on Monday

I have finished some more of my tiger stitch, its taking forever i tell you but it better not take me another 3.5yrs

While all this is going on, Lukas has had to go back on gluten as they want to do a biopsy on him now for Coeliac Disease so that is all fun and games.  Will post up more as i know it, he also is getting seen in 2 weeks about his bones as they say they are bones of a 23month old not a 3.5 year old which is concerning to them.

Damian well what can i say he has stopped smoking been one month now and doing a great job.

Me well first semester of course down another 5 semesters to go.  Starting back on Monday, so far so good as all my marks have been great and keeping me with a A Average 

Heading home to NZ - Day 6

Well today we didnt actually do alot we were going to head to the wildlife bird park but the weather didnt feel the best, it was cold and all.  So we just chilled out instead.

However we did get a babysitter for the night and Damian and I went to Dracula's for the night went as VIP aswell...

It was awesome, no photo were allowed in there so of course I didnt get any.  But it was a def must in gold coast I really enjoyed it.

Leaving Cobar

Well what can I say...its one more sleep till we leave Cobar for a small family holiday before the kids and I get on a plane back to NZ.

Since about May I have really been down and really not wanting to be here, its in the middle of nowhere, and just NOT me.  Happy mum = happy kids is the saying and I can tell you I have been less than happy.  As much as I love my husband and want to be with him all the time sadly its just not going to work in Cobar as I will stay unhappy.  I need my family and the kids do too.

So we are off tomorrow morning, heading to

Australia zoo

Seaworld

Dream world

Currumbin wildlife park

Then Friday morning off to the airport to get back to NZ.

So watch this space for updates on our trip and journey back to NZ.

Then the fun will really start, looking for somewhere to live, getting our stuff, then sorting out things for my mums 50th, my sons 3rd, my sisters hens night, and her wedding, having Damian come over for a while to see us all, then xmas time.

Lucky enough I dont have to actually do the organising of the 50th or the wedding

PLUS did I mention working for about 10-12 weeks by looking after my friends daughter who will be 6mths old OMG.

THEN

next year hoping to get back into course and part time work..

Sewing Day

Well today i got some sewing done cause i have the stall for girls night out coming up next weekend and need to get my a into g to sort it out

So i took Lukas to daycare and got some housework done with Dakota following my every move asking when we are going to sew

So we got the sew on, I had the machine like always and we gave Dakota a needle and thread to do hand sewing

Mole Removel

Well 2 hours ago i just had number 2 and 3 removed

10 years ago i had a huge one on my back taken out and man that hurt they didnt numb it right and i still felt it when the did the first cut so they had to re numb and re numb i was there for almost 2 hours with it getting numb and removed.

Today i just got one under my arm and in the groin removed and the under arm one i felt nothing was great, and the groin well half way though i felt it so more numbing had to be applied but overall both were taken out in 45mins so better than one in 2 hours.

I have had to cancel work tomorrow and Damian has to stay home as im not allowed to get off the couch unless im going toilet, shower or bed.

Next thursday stitches come out.

But MAN im sore, im going to miss Lukas's first day at daycare aswell as that is tomorrow and im not allowed to walk up there so that is out, Damian will be doing that job... O well such is life.

Hopefully next week i find out if its cancer or not

Op shop shopping

Well tonight i have a housewarming to go to and its wear a skirt or dress for the females but it has to be from a second hand or op shop.

So i went in this morning and found a couple of items got them to hold them while i took Lukas to soccer then headed back to grab a few other things....

Dakota was well bahaved helping me find things, Lukas wouldnt stop running around so i had to get the pram out...GRRRRRRR not like there was room to push a pram around in there and it was busy too...

BUT i got out there with spending $51 for 5 items which i thought was pretty good.

So here is what i got
