Have answer finally after almost 2 years

After months and months of me fighting with doctors saying that there is something wrong with Dakota, they finally started listening and doing everything they could to find out what was wrong.  We all thought conspation as she was having trouble and screaming the house down at times.
Well finally after Damian watching good morning one morning at work he came home and showed me the show and asked who i thought that reminded me of, of course i said Dakota.  They were talking about Coeliac disease.  So on the phone i got to speak to the person dealing with Dakotas case and they said ok we will do the tests.

A few days later i got the forms for bloods to be done and off we went, Dakota did very well even though they had to jab her twice the first time they didnt get enough blood.  I brought her a book after the second one as i only had a few marshmellows and she ate those after the first one.

A few days after that i rang the hosp to find out the finding on the tests, they rang back to say she had a very very high chance of Coeliac disease but to come in on Monday to have a chat.  Damian took the day off so we both could be there for this very important finding.  Yes Dakota has Coeliac disease so no gluten for her what so ever.
We start the diet after the biopsy which should be in the next 4 weeks and the deitican meeting aswell, not only did they work this out but she has to be looked at for her speech and hearing aswell.

So a few more hosp appointments to go yet, but yay to finding out what is wrong with her.

Just will be hard to start with but we will get there:)

Awww...you poor things - just another thing to land on your plate. But so pleased that now you can start doing everything you can to make her comfortable/enjoying life.

Good luck - you have a bit of a struggle ahead, but I'm sure it will be great once you hit your stride with the new diet.
