Well today we took the kids to westen springs where they had heaps of ducks, Dakota is very much into ducks so thought that would be a hoot. Here is Dakota pointing to the duck on the sign.
Then it was time to find the real ducks, flapping her arms and quacking like a duck she was off.
After we finished watching those ducks we had to go elsewhere. so headed to a big tree.
Dakota wanted me to hug the tree aswell lol.
Off we were again, so much to see, running off to find more ducks
Over bridges
We found ducks, eels and fish under this bridge, Dakota pointed out all the ducks though, we tried showing her eels but from the bridge the ducks were so much more fun.
Found a small spot where Dakota had a seat, from there we could see ducks and then two eels swan pass a big one then a little one. She was very excited about that, and didnt want to leave this seat, must of been the best seat in the whole park.
We kept walking the park was really big had to put jackets on as the wind was starting to get a little cold, but the kids didnt mind at all, Lukas was having fun in his pram and Dakota was having a blast running around the park, until she found a PLAYGROUND......
The playground was a bit big for her but there were a few things she could do. While she was playing i fed Lukas.
After a quick play at the playground it was time to head back to the car over the hills and though the sunshine.
Was a great little walk and Dakota loved it, she has never seen real ducks before so it was really exciting watching her get excited over them, we didnt have bread with us as we couldnt risk her eating it and GF bread is a little expensive to feed to ducks, but she was happy enough watching them.
