Busy sunday

Well today started out pretty bad, i didnt get alot of sleep (i do have to look that word up).  So one tired and grumpy mummy this morning.

So off i went outside to check on Blizzard and then the garden, Radishes are growing there are 27 that we can see. Its exciting really.

Because i was tired i had to stay awake so yup that means moving the lounge around yet again.  I think it looks good but thats what i say every time i do it.  new rule in the lounge NO EATING BY ANYONE UNDER 16 IN MY LOUNGE, im sick of cleaning up food from under couches etc, so eating is on the deck or at the table.

Here is my lounge the way i have moved it today.

All the kids toys have been sorted though and put in the lounge i got sick and tired of fishing toys out from under bed, tired of kids getting up and playing.  So NO toys in the room now apart from teddies on beds.

So we have areas for all kinds, the books when the couches are finished i will change it around again so both kids can have their couches by the books.  Have the easel, magnetic board, blocks and other toys in one corner, the magnetic board has the magnets and magnetic stories with it.  Then we have the corner by the TV where the musical instruments are, along with drawing things, and educational toys.  Of course you cant forget the bikes, prams and walkers lined up by the door so there are ready to go outside on nice hot days.

After lunch we decided to play Wii as a family well as much as we could.  Dakota and Damian had a go and Dakota loved it, not that she did alot but she did have fun.  When i was playing against Damian i looked over to the musical corner where Lukas was standing up and shaking a shaker like i was moving the controls around for one of the games we were playing, he was having a blast.

Then after a bath and pjs on, Lukas has discovered books and decided he likes them

It reminds me of the first book Dakota got to at 8mths old. She was heading for that same one

So for the first time tonight i sat on Lukas bed with him (he has one side off, that is the wall side) and read a story, he laughed the whole time, was so cute.  So will be reading stories to both kids now since he is interested now, instead of eating it.

So that was busy sunday funday.
