Stay and Play

Well even though its the school holidays mainly music had something on called "stay and play" from 10-11.30 where we could take our kids and let them play, the older kids were able to be there too so it worked nicely.

For only $2 the kids did so much and there was even food and drink for the kids (i took Dakotas) and hot drinks and biscuits for the adults.

Well today was the last day for stay and play and there was table full of crafts things well where did Dakota go.

She was so clever, i sat with her while she wanted to do the hot air balloon activity, thats cutting out shapes and putting the shapes in the right place.  I only helped with cutting out and putting the glue on the back and of course telling her what shape it was she did the rest found the right shape and stuck it down.  I didnt say no thats not right or anything, just said well done when she got it right.  I also helped her write her name then she tried writing it next to her name.

 She got the shapes pretty much spot on so proud of her and she is only just over 2.

She also made a jellyfish, bright and colourful

I helped with her with all of this, she couldnt push the stapler by herself, she did chose the order of the colours

Of course cant forgot Lukas having a play aswell. He loves it when Mikayla helps him walk.

 Then Dakota found the playdough, nope its not Gluten Free but she doesnt eat it so im happy with her playing with it, she is getting so much better with it, actually pushing shapes into it etc.

Morning Tea time

Of course after eating needs a story

So Dakota got herself one and sat down to read

Then its clean up time, the kids are so good and all help out some way or another.
Today Dakota decided she wanted to roll the mat up

 Then after that i did the rounds of things i needed to do, harvey norman to sort out some 8 * 8 photos and YAY they got it right and trimmed them for me, went to Animates to get rabbit food and litter and then off to nappies for less for nappies then back to harvey norman to pick up the photos.  Down to home to get an address then off to the post shop to send off more Trade me stuff and the special project i had been working on:)  Hopefully it will arrive by Sat:)

So that was the busy day at stay and play.
