Well today was another lovely day here in Auckland.
Not only did i go out to the mall with Dakota in knickers and NO accidents while out, the kids had a blast at the playground at the mall...
Got home where the kids went outside onto the deck, nice and warm and lots to do.
Lukas started wondering around "mum, mum, mum" was starting to drive me insane so i pulled out the coloured rice. Soon the other two were there wanting to play aswell.
So we have PLAY IT
And because they were having a little fun and then started getting bored with just spooning the rice into different containers, i went back into my cupboard and pulled out MORE goodies, yup i have a cupboard FULL..Cut up some egg trays, gave the kids pipe cleaners, feathers, glitter, ribbon and glue...I used the siccors to cut holes where they wanted them, so they made what they wanted.
I helped Lukas put together his one, not that he really cared he just wanted to throw the rice around and laugh..
Didn't they do a good job?
After the craft was done, i left them with the rice, egg trays, feathers etc and they got the tea set and played a game themselves sharing and having a blast with that.
Caleb and Dakota made birthday cakes and used feathers as candles...the teapot was always full of water (rice) and pouring into the cups for "tea"
Lukas started getting grumpy after this and just wanted to chill so i popped the wiggles on the TV for him and he chilled out watching it.

While Lukas was watching the wiggles, Caleb and Dakota found their creatures they made and started playing with them, well Dakota was playing with her one more so than Caleb he saw the TV go on and his eyes became glued
We had mac and cheese for dinner and well the boys had 3 plates each and Dakota didnt touch her one at all..she went to sleep by 5pm and the boys were in bed and asleep by 6.30pm
Overall a good day...
