big kid at heart

Yup for some reason today made me feel like i was a little kid

Could of been the fact alot of things been lifted off my shoulders and made me feel lighter so to speak.

And well Damian got hold of my phone to take photos and videos lol

Then we had the slide and swing set outside and well i went down the slide with the kids too, i didnt even know Damian took a video till he turned it off and started laughing lol

It was fun being a kid again, we even lay on the ground and did pile ups lol, Damian joined us for that, then we ran around the deck playing chases.  I then had to bring in some of the washing and hang out more as i was doing this i found a ladybird on a pair of Dakotas pants and gave it to the kids to hold.

Of course he was nearly dead once these two actually finished holding him, poor ladybird, Lukas dropped him off the side of the deck im sure i saw him fly away but not sure how well he did that..

Then it was ice-block time lol

Yup kids had a outfit change, Lukas was hot and Dakota wet herself 

Then we headed off to my nanas place as we were heading out for the opening of the world cup fireworks.

Wasnt actually that cold out, kids had a glad bag of snacks to eat while waiting for the fireworks to start and we picked up fish n chips for the adults, kids had already eaten dinner.  they were behaved for the fireworks and enjoyed the pretty lights

We went up Bastion Point got half way up to find cars were trying to come down, no parks left up there, cars park both sides so you couldnt turn around and cars coming down pushing pass, WELL i ended up having to back down the hill i hated it, cars on both sides of me, people walking up in black so i couldnt see them, cars coming up behind me and of course the cars coming down shining their lights right in my eyes made an interesting start to the night for sure.. Finally got down and went around the bay looking for a car park, found a empty bus stop, and well the buses werent going to use it so i did and so did 4 others lol, someone was already there so thought what the heck.

Got out and walked to the yacht club where we sat and waited and looked for mountains, helicopters, sky tower and stars

But i got some video of the fireworks, well Damian did on my phone, while i had Lukas on my lap and mum had Dakota on her lap

Once finished we were up and to the car to beat the crowds, finished about 8.10pm got back to nanas to drop nana home and mum to her car, then we left nanas at 8.30 got home at 8.50 so the traffic wasnt too bad at all...Got home to watch the game and of course we are going for All Blacks.

And well of course i end my blog with the score to the All Black vs Tonga game as the game is now over as i finish my blog for tonight.
