Fine Motor Skills

From Wikipedia:
Fine motor skills are the coordination of small muscle movements which occur e.g., in the fingers, usually in coordination with the eyes. In application to motor skills of hands (and fingers) the termdexterity is commonly used. When applied to the theory of human aptitude this is called manual dexterity.

So while i gave my children bubbles to play with today with long tubes and having to get the stick back into the tube, was proving to be hard but with practice they got in down pact and was able to get the bubbles going...

Of course using their hands and eyes to work out where the hole was and getting the stick in the right place gave than experince that they didnt even know they were learning, they thought they were just doing bubbles.

Check them out

Then of course they got the bubbles to work by waving the wand in the air...

So learning a skill while playing and they didnt even know...

LOVE IT
