Well from age 2 i always knew there was something wrong with Dakota and her speech, she didnt talk baby alot or make all those baby sounds like most babies do, as she got older she would say mummy and thats about it, that was at age 2.
Since just after she turned 2 we got her into speech, she gets better and then goes backwards then comes right again.
Well this morning we had 3 sentences from her this morning which we never thought we would actually hear...
While Damian got up to get the kids breakfast he went to pour Dakota cornflakes and thats when the sentences came
"i dont like those"
"cocoa bombs dad"
When I got out of bed and sat down i got
"come look mum, bed dry"
And sure enough it was dry, thats morning number 7 dry with only 1 BIG wet and 1 small accident cause she couldnt get out of bed in time.
She has done very well in the last year, she is now 3.5years and done so much.
