Lots to do

Well today was a here and there day, we did things here and did things there lol.

Apart from Lukas drawing on the couch we had a pretty good day.

We had drawing going on, Dakota has a big poster with castles she is loving to colour in at the moment

She does like the colour red lol

Lukas doesnt do colouring much unless its my walls, doors, floor or couch little toad.

So i set up his marble run for him

And he loves his marble track

I got lunch sorted while they were doing their own thing, after lunch they found the washing hampers were empty which means im up to date with my washing lol and well they make great hats and more.

A little later on, after i finished eating my lunch we went outside to have some messy play and a swim.

They thought this was great and lots of fun, Dakota even had to taste it a few times, Lukas ended up with blue hands, oops heavy handed on that colouring again. o well.

The kids playing together nice, there was no fighting over the stuff i set out which was great

And then Lukas the Ant killer

Then they wanted to have a swim and I couldnt be bothered getting their togs in they went naked and they had to try on their arm bands..which are just so cute

While they were playing outside we had thunder then rain, Lukas is scared of thunder and kept running to me i would reassure him that its ok, he didnt cry or ran inside...Then Dakota told him it was daddy's truck, she remembers from a while ago that daddy drives a noisy truck.

While they watched elmo i got dinner on and cooked yummy lemon chicken on rice with veges, both kids ate it all up and got 2nd's of rice and Lukas wanted 3rd's...then they got an iceblock each.

Outside they went while i did the dishes and vacuum while i was doing that i watched them draw together on the concrete .

Dakota did all the faces and bodies, Lukas did all the little lines on the right hand photo and the blue and pink lines on the left photo

They are now in bed, Lukas is asleep and Dakota once again mucking around, she seems to do this every night at bedtime now, mucks around and she wonders why she is tired during the day.
