Today after a hard day of Lukas wanting his dummy during the day (when he isnt allowed it) and hitting Dakota in the face cause he couldn't have it so went to time out...Thats when i decided NO MORE, the dummy is going, im not having this behavior just because of a stupid dummy.
So Lukas went to bed and cried a bit calling mum, so i went in there and lay with him for a little bit telling him he is a big boy and the new babies have his dummies, and he nodded his head saying "my one" after he stopped the crying i got him back onto his pillow and just rubbed his back.
I told him i was leaving the room and would be back very soon to check on him and if he goes to sleep with no dummy he gets a treat when we drop Dakota off at daycare in the morning.
2 mins later i went into his room and he was asleep..
This took 25mins all up
Will update tomorrow night on the treat he got etc
