Well last night we ended up at my Aunties for Guyfawks, i thought Dakota would be scared with all the banging etc, but in fact when we all sat down for dinner a the really late time of 9pm, Dakota didnt want to eat she wanted to go outside and watch the fireworks.
So off she went outside on the deck to watch everyone letting them off while we all finished dinner.
Once dinner was finished we headed outside, my two cousins and hubby started lighting the fireworks and letting them off, Dakota stood with me and the others watching she was getting excited by them, and even got her first time holding a sparkler, (Lukas had gone to sleep in the pram and actually slept though it all).
Damian put a firework down next minute we were all screaming and running, it fell over and was heading for us, i panicked cause i couldnt find Dakota, my cousin had her and had taken off up the stairs to the deck, Phew!!!!
Dakota then asked to go to bed by this time it was 9.45pm she lasted so long and went to bed no problems was really good:) So we finished off the night.
At 11pm we headed home, dropping off my cousin since he had booze and he couldnt drive. Got stopped by a booze check point, and all was good.
Got home at midnight both kids into bed and asleep.
YAY.
Great guyfawks this year, and yup what you know, Dakota LOVED the fireworks, cant wait for next year when Lukas will be almost 2, wonder what he will think of them.
