School Fair

Yup im posting two today because well i can.  This isnt under the November challenge lol

Today I decided i wanted to go to the St leos, school fair was going to take both kids but Lukas woke up sick, throwing up and all so he stayed home with daddy.

Dakota and i went instead, nice day out just mummy and daughter,  our neighbours met us there and well it was nice having someone else there to talk to.

There was sooooo much there and everything was pretty much $2, so Dakota wanted a balloon so i got her one, then she wanted a turn on the bouncy castle so yup she did that too and didnt want to get off, by this time the kiddies were getting hungry, we headed for the food stalls i had a lamb spit and Dakota had some lamb but i also packed her grapes, banana, biscuits etc as i didnt think there was going to be much she could have.

After lunch the kids ended up doing the confidence course which was standing on bars and jumping onto mats.  Went into the hall where the sign said books, books, books and yup there were heaps of books, i ended up buying the kids little puzzles with the letter of there name, so Dakota got a D and Lukas a L, these will be stocking fillers, also go them frames that are like puzzles, pretty neat, wish there were more i will have to look for the brand and find some.

After that we headed over to look at some other tables, and found a lucky dip, so Dakota had two a toddler one and a girls one.  In the todder one she got a little sand set, bucket, spade, rake and two moulds, in the girls one she got pens.  Lucky girl really.  She loved both prizes.

Dakota also wanted to play the kick the ball and win game, so off she went another $2 and she got 3 kicks and what you know she got it in the goal twice so got two drinks.  Then another drink later on.

We stayed while the quick fire draws were finishing and yup i brought a few tickets, i missed out twice i had number 27 and it landed on 1 but holding to the 27 but number 1 got it, then another one, i got 2 tickets and didnt get to choose:( because if i chose i would of got number 4, and what you know of course number 4 won:( o well life goes on.

Long day from 11am till 4pm got home, went next door for the kids to play, and Claire and I sat down for a wine.  Then home for dinner.

After dinner both kids had a shower, Dakota got out, into PJ's and then wanted to go to bed at 5.30pm yup and she was asleep within 5mins, why? cause she didnt have a afternoon sleep today, but she was up about 9pm cause she heard the fireworks, so she sat with daddy to watch some, then went for a short walk to have a look at more, back home and went back to sleep.

Lukas really wasnt well today, he had alot of 45min sleeps, he started going downhill pretty fast and yup ended up in hospital just to be watched.  He threw up on me twice while we were there, stole one of my M and M's and what you know, he was up walking, playing etc we were then discharged.  So home we went:)

One eventful day thats for sure
