Well after the mission last night getting Dakota to sleep, she actually slept all night long, normally she wakes 1-2 times but not last night was great. (Lukas woke instead)
I heard her run though the lounge at 6.50 this morning heading right to the door that takes you to the deck, i got up and opened the door for her and she took off to the dummy bag where she had left her dummies, she opened it to find no dummies but a letter.
The letter said
"Dear Dakota
Thanks for the dummies all the new babies are now very happy...
Because you were so nice to give them up i have left you a special present.
Have a look at the back door step.
Love dummy fairy"
So off dakota went running to the back door step
"Look mum a present"
Running back inside to show dad
Then it was time to open this awesome present that the dummy fairy left behind.
WOW magnics
Dakota sat on our bed for a good 45mins playing with her toy present.
The mission is keeping them away from Lukas.
Tonight will be another night

Well done Dakota, it does get easier, we recently weaned Lauren and she also went from waking to sleeping right through, can only assume it was because she wasn't missing the dummy any more. Oh and with both of mine night 3 was reasonably easy, night 4 was as though they never had it
