Give them a canvas and pens and see what they do.
My kids had a blast, over 2 days
Lukas chose to draw bits and pieces on his one but stabbing it with pencils to make holes was SO much more fun, looks pretty cool though

Dakota took a different approach to the whole thing and coloured it. Using felt pens.

After the first night she had this. "Mummy and Dakota"
Then after the second day she had this...its now her family and up the other way.
They both did good jobs and look pretty cool, names and ages are on the back they both wont them on the wall in their new rooms.
Then give kids paper plates, stickers and pens and see the creations out of that. They both enjoyed drawing on the plates and adding stickers, Dakota kept telling me which feeling the stickers had "sad, happy, surprised, sour etc" and asked me to label them so I did. Lukas liked drawing circles around the inside of the plate and putting the stickers around the outside. This activity will prob go on tomorrow too.
We also made a ring toss today with paper plates but will blog about that on Sat most likely once the kids have had a play with it...
Canvas cost $2 each and the paper plates $2 for a pack of 18. So a cheap, simple thing to do
