Surprise visit

Well on Valentines Day we had a surprise visitor, Damian (Daddy) turned up with a bunch of flowers, it wasn't expected I had NO idea.

Daddy also brought the kids bikes each which they love alot and then we went out of dinner at lonestar, kids were well behaved, lucky we went early at 5.10 when they opened at 5.30 we got a table right away next minute looking around the place was almost full.

While he was here had a job interview on the Friday, so while he did that the kids routine stayed the same going to preschool etc.  Then off to my nanas in the afternoon for dinner.

Of course we showed Daddy on Sat gymnastics Damian did it with Lukas and he enjoyed it, while Dakota did it on her own in her class.  Afterwards Dakota had to make up her mind gym or cheerleading, she has chosen cheerleading so Lukas is now able to do gym.

Then we went off to show him cheerleading.

Sat night we took the kids to Waikaraka Park, kids have never been to speedway before so thought we would go with some friends and give it a crack with the kids.  There was some decent crashes last night with the biggest one being right in front of us with rolling and flipping.  Sadly no photo of that as we werent ready for it lol.  The wall on the otherhand was beaten up ALOT they had to put tape up and move people away from it in the pits.

Lukas would sit on my knees hands up and driving like the race cars, I forgot a jumper for him so he has to wear Dakotas long sleeve under his red shirt.  He WAS not happy that I put this pink shirt on him.  Lucky he got over it when I put the red shirt over top

Today we had to take Damians rental car back so on the way we stopped and had maccas, Dakota got to have hot cakes like Lukas, just mummy made them before we left and popped them in a container and her milo too. (Dakotas milo is nesquick, we just call it milo cause she likes to be like mummy)

After breakfast we got rid of the car and headed to mission bay to ride the bikes and play in the sand.  The kids are getting alot better riding their bikes.  Lukas has got the hang of it faster than Dakota.  While heading to the area to ride Lukas went though water lol.

Sorry the videos are sideways till I can work out how to turn them around. They were taken on the phone

Then Dakota wanted to play in the water for a bit, again sorry for the sideways video.  Then wanted to make sand castles and Lukas too

And more random photos from today

Then an early dinner of roast pork YUMMY

Then sent Damian off at the airport.

Then on the way home stopped at the look out, the kids pretended to have a camera and was taking photos, then scrolling though their phones looking at their photos.

So that was pretty much our surprise visit until next time

Just wondered if you knew the Milo is not gluten free and is un-suitable for people with gluten allergies. My Son is also gluten free
