Mothers Day 2013

Well this morning started with a sleep in and then two kiddies running in yelling happy mothers day handing me their cards and flowers they made at preschool. (they had already given them to me the other day)

Then it was breakfast in bed.

Popped in to see my mum and give her a mothers day present, then we were off to glenbrook to ride the stream train to Waiuku, while we were there, there were markets etc on for steel of cars or something like that.

The kids enjoyed the train ride.

Once in Waiuku

These were Gluten Free kumera donuts, there were 6 of them Dakota ate 2 and then said I dont like these, so Lukas got her other one

Kids were playing and singing, ring a ring a rosie

For lunch we sat down at the pond watching the ducks.

After lunch headed to look at the cars, didnt get a photo of them all there were way too many.  Kids loved looking at them going ah and oooo

There was a music band and they were singing "the twist" Dakota ran out into the middle and started dancing she had people talking how cute she was, and indeed she really was.  That child is not shy at all.
Dance my girl dance

Face painting was next on the list.  Dakota picked the paint she wanted, the lady painted her face showed Dakota and next thing we heard was "its not the same as the photo" she was right the lady did it different to the photo and Dakota wanted what the photo had.  We did ask her if she was ok with what she has and the answer was yes so we were safe.  We must remember to tell people to do it the same as the photos cause she knows, just by looking in the mirror.  Lukas asked for a pirate and he was very happy with his face.

A car simulated was there so we had a go, our fastest laps were
Damian 58.50
My one 1.32
The kids came in with us, Dakota went with me and Lukas went with Damian.  They enjoyed it.

Heading back to the train after 4 hours of having fun.

On the way back on the train we stopped at the workshop for a 10min look around.

Once back at Glenbrook time to have a play at the playground like we promised them

We headed to Pukekohe hill for dinner and a play..  Was lots of fun.
