Oz trip Day 2

Wednesday 29th December

Woke at 6.30am and the night before we decided we were going to seaworld, so up we got and showered etc, then off for a walk to find some breakfast, we found a coffee club and sat down for breakfast was very different than a NZ coffee club we they actually come and take your order and check on your table etc, was nice.  We sat there watching them take down the huge Christmas tree in the middle of the road.  Once breakfast was over we went hunting for a bottle of water, then to the bus stop to catch a bus.

Got to seaworld about 9ish and the line was already getting long so jumped in the line.  At 9.30 the gates opened up we went though and decided what we wanted to do and waited in line for the flume, that took for ages to open up.  Had a ride on that and got very wet.  Headed round to look at the stingrays and a few other animals then off to the jet ski roller coaster.  OMG that was GREAT loved it, didn’t get a photo though.  After that we went to the big viper rollercoaster, that was ok, not as good at the jet ski one though.  Then it was time to work out which shows we were going to watch when.

Here is the order we did them in
Imagine Dolphin Show – 11.30am
That was great the dolphins were neat, im jealous of the two people that got picked to touch the dolphin, that would have been great.

Pirates Unleashed – 12.30pm
This is a new one, and was two teams of pirates, was pretty good, the guys that played this one were just great, they are professionals doing the jumps etc.

Jet Stunt Extreme – 1.15pm
This was amazing, the guys have done years of dong Jet stunts, flipping a Jet ski which weigh 80kgs up in the air and over under the water etc, the youngest one was 19, they were amazing moving the jet skis around like they did.

Fish Detectives Sea Lion Show – 2.00pm
This was funny, I loved the sea lion he was good, only one sea lion was used apart from when he went to a small sea lion and they used a baby one.  It was neat to watch even a pelican came onto the scene.

We did go and have a look at the string rays and both got to pat one, then checked out the penguins wasn’t that exciting NZ has a better penguin one in Kelly tarlons.  Then we went to go watch happy feet in 3D, where they have taken bits and pieces from the movie and put it into 3D.  That was pretty cool seeing them in 3D.

We left seaworld at 4.20pm and headed back to the bus, great timing as the bus was at the bus stop waiting for people so on we hopped.

Headed back brought some sun screen since we forgot it earlier.  Then went back to the shops to have a look this time and found a few things we liked but will go back later for.  Back to time zone to play a few more games on our card got 600point between the two of us so brought a solar light turtle.

Headed to Maccas for a ice cream and burger for Damian and headed to the markets, while going there I ate my icecream with mini m and m’s in it and heard a crack yup what ya know, my tooth broke in half.  So off to the medical centre to see what they could do, nothing, so they gave us a dentist name and number so will see them in the morning.
